Include Speeches

I am a proud member of Toastmaster International. I have given many speeches. Some of them were very important to me; my father's eulogy, a celebration of my mother's life, how a car helped me become a man and how I met the love of my life in the cereal aisle right next the Lucky Chams. (True story.)

I am including these speeches in my letter to my grandchildren. I think they reveal a lot about me; how did my father shape me, what did my mother teach me about life and faith, how fixing a car helped me become a man and how love can take you by surprise and change you on a molecular level. These speeches divulge my thoughts and emotions about the most important people and events in my life. I highly recommend that if you have ever given a heartfelt speech that you include in your letter.
